Otranto

Otranto is a beautiful seaside town most known for the Battle of Otranto,that took place in 1480,when the Ottoman Army clashed with the local residents.Αt the end of the war,800 residents of Otranto were decapitated from the Ottomans and in the church of the city you can see the sculls and the bones of those people.....the name of the church is Cattedrale dei Beati Martiri!
